EcoAction Arlington Movie Screening - The Economics of Happiness @ Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse

With the world moving forward and corporations gaining more money and power in our everyday lives, many citizens are finding themselves questioning where to draw the line and how they can make significant change in their economy. How do we stop the consolidation of global power at the top? How do we show that we want a re-regulation of trade and finance?

The answer is to have communities come together and invest in an economics of localization. Listen to a multitude of voices, including the former Prime Minister of Tibet’s government in exile Samdhong Rinpoche, share their opinions on how to prevent increasing globalization by companies and what people can do to help. Adopting this new practice will not only help our world heal but also help ourselves feel better and alleviated from the pressures of work, knowing that we are inspiring change.
