To honor Presidents’ Day, the Friends of Theodore Roosevelt are hosting the first public screening of a new documentary about Theodore Roosevelt and his legacy. The Man on the Island is a 60 minute documentary which tells the remarkable history of the island as a memorial to Roosevelt. We will be joined by the documentary producers who will conduct a Q&A following the screening.
Tickets are free, but please RSVP so we can provide adequate refreshments.
Where: Arlington National Cemetery at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, located at the Ceremonial Entrance – Parking is available in the Visitor Parking Garage and the cemetery is accessibly be metro via the Blue Line
The film will begin at 3:00 p.m. Please consider arriving early to view the Memorial exhibits; The Women in Military Service for America Memorial, is the only major national memorial honoring all women who have defended America throughout history.
