On March 21, the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust will be hosting the 25 Years of Saving Nearby Nature Luncheon. Join us to meet, network and mingle with top political, business and conservation leaders from around Northern Virginia who are committed to the work of protecting parks, streams, forests, wildlife habitat, and working lands like farms for all time.

We are excited to announce that the speakers for our luncheon are going to include top business and political leaders from Northern Virginia, including Chairman of the Arlington County Board Christian Dorsey, about the impact of Amazon’s arrival in our region. The featured speakers will share their expertise and views on the balance we must find between open space and land conservation and the new development and infrastructure necessary to attract growing, innovative businesses.

Attendees will also be treated to a video welcome from Senator Tim Kaine, a short presentation from NVCT Executive Director Alan Rowsome on the organization’s exciting new initiatives, and a number of short tributes honoring individuals who have made incredible contributions to the work of protecting beautiful Northern Virginia for all time.
