The Arlington Chorale Concert “Outside Going In”

The Arlington Chorale will be performing highlights from the 2018-2019 in two final concert performances in May to benefit local community partners. Repertoire will include Eric Whitacre’s beautiful setting of the beloved children’s book “Goodnight Moon”, two pieces by contemporary Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo, and Jay Althouse’s arrangement of the traditional Appalachian folk song “Bright Morning Stars”.
Join the Chorale at 7:30 on Monday, May 13, at First Presbyterian Church in Arlington, and be sure to bring a donation of nonperishable food for AFAC,the Arlington Food Assistance Center.
The final concert of the year will be held at 7:30pm on Monday, May 20, at Westover Baptist Church. All donations from that concert will go to support Westover’s ministry.
Now in its 53rd season, the Arlington Chorale (TAC) is a nonprofit ensemble of auditioned volunteer singers from Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland. TAC strives to perform high-quality and compelling concerts, adding to the quality of life in the community. All concerts are free and open to the public, with donations gratefully accepted.
