Owner Kelly Millspaugh Thompson first made a name for her store by resurrecting vintage furniture with chalk paint and by teaching fellow DIY-decorators how to do the same. She’s since expanded her brand—a style she calls “modern function and vintage soul”—by cultivating a mix of old and new home décor, gifts and accessories from lines such as Roost, Jellycat and Creative Co-Op. You’ll find an even larger selection of antique furniture (both raw and refurbished) at Stylish Patina’s monthly warehouse sale, Rough Luxe Market (held at 138 W.
