As shopping destinations go, Market Common has star power. The shops lining this Clarendon promenade include a newly renovated Apple Store, along with big-name retailers such as Crate & Barrel, The Container Store, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Ethan Allen, Sephora, bluemercury and Barnes & Noble. But what makes the Orange Line spot extra community-friendly are events like the rooftop yoga classes at lululemon, fly-fishing lessons at Orvis and seasonal celebrations in the park and playground area. Local Lilly Pulitzer signature store Pink Palm opened here in 2016, adding to a roster of clothing boutiques that includes South Moon Under, Lou Lou, Ann Taylor, LOFT, Jos. A. Bank and Chico’s. And the made-to-order ice cream at Nicecream Factory? That’s the cherry on top.
