When veteran barber Dustin Foley brought his grooming team to Falls Church City, along with his personal collection of vintage barbershop furnishings and an old-school pinball machine, he nailed it. “We want to give guys a place where they can come hang out and feel comfortable,” says Foley, whose beard and tattoos are simultaneously retro, yet trendy. Customers can peruse yearbooks from the 1940s to pick out the classic cuts that Foley says are “the foundation of what looks good on guys today,” enjoy a straight-razor shave with a hot towel, or just hang out with a cup of coffee. The vibe is distinctly unpretentious, and the staff always seems genuinely happy to see you again.
