What do you do to ensure that your clients have an excellent experience?
We begin our tried-and-true process by gathering lots of information. Our proprietary Design Planning Survey asks guided questions that help us understand what clients love about their home, what they need changed and how they live in their current space. We use this information to create design solutions that are functional and beautiful. When presenting designs, we always include associated costs so that clients can make informed decisions. During the building phase, each client has a dedicated Lead Carpenter/Site Manager who only works on that client’s project. We focus on one client at a time and we plan each project meticulously. That’s how we deliver high quality work on time and on budget. We recently received all five-star client reviews in every category from GuildQuality—ours were some of the highest results among builders and remodelers across the country.
Client satisfaction is our top priority, even after the project is complete. Our homes are designed to grow along with our clients. We think strategically about how their house works for them now and in the future. I recently ran into a client we worked with years ago. She told me, “It’s been five years since our renovation. A lot has changed and our kids are now in high school, but to this day we wouldn’t change a thing.”
What do you enjoy most about planning new spaces for your clients?
We love offering them a fresh perspective. We once had a client who was a commercial architect and he wanted to renovate his home. We discussed the plans he’d created and then suggested another option. He was blown away. He’d been thinking about that project for years and we offered him an excellent solution that he’d never thought of, despite being a trained architect.
