What should buyers expect when working with Classic Cottages?
We understand that our clients seek different experiences when it comes to building a home. Some prefer the Design + Build route, which allows for full customization and one-on-one meetings with our team of designers. Others prefer a quick move-in upon completion of one of our trusted pre-designed models or spec homes.
However, most homeowners fall somewhere in between. Most of the clients we work with have strong opinions about what they want in a few areas of the home, such as the floor plan or the finishes, but they might not be interested in selecting every detail throughout the home or they might not have time to do so.
Our team is now able to offer our clients a more semi-custom approach that includes a broad menu of pre-designed packages in segments of the home or throughout the entire home based on our clients’ preferences. We recently introduced this semi-custom experience in our two newest communities in Arlington.
What’s unique about the two new Arlington communities you’re developing?
We are proud to introduce our two new subdivisions in Arlington, an eight-home community, Abingdon Estates, in Ballston and a nine-home community, Roosevelt Place, near the East Falls Church metro. These are rare projects given the scarcity of land in Arlington. Each community has its own separate architectural style and feel, as well as multiple floor plan options and design scheme packages to match our buyers’ growing modern lifestyle needs and design preferences.
When planning for both developments, we were conscious of not creating the dreaded cookie-cutter subdivisions where the same floor plan or two are built over and over again. For these two developments, we’re building 10 different models for 17 lots while still achieving a cohesive feel within the community.
