Flavio W. Nasr, DDS
What is the most significant change in dentistry during your career?
I believe that dentistry is entering a “Golden Age” with the introduction of cutting-edge technology. By combining digital data from x-rays, scanners and photographs, I can design treatment strategies that yield amazing results. I sometimes joke that one day I’ll use my iPhone to scan someone’s mouth. The best is yet to come.
What makes you different than others in your profession?
I’m not just a tooth doctor. I’m knowledgeable about the entire body, because oral health affects the rest of the body and vice versa. My extensive continuing education includes a range of topics, from the cumulative damage from sleep apnea to color selection in cosmetic treatment.
We’re also unique because we aren’t a high-volume practice. We respect our patients’ time. We see them within 10 minutes of their appointment 95% of the time, and we always give them the attention they deserve.
