How would your clients describe you?
I’ve been surveyed by more than 100 clients for customer satisfaction. I’m proud to say I receive
excellent scores for customer service. My clients described me as honest, hardworking, a good listener and meeting their goals.
What is the biggest challenge in your job?
Finding balance. Realtors are pulled in many directions and must juggle everything that is thrown their way on a daily basis. I tell my clients and customers that Realtors are the wedding planners of real estate. Having said that, finding balance requires making time for everything, including self care.
What are your interests outside of work?
When I’m not working, I’m spending quality time with my family and friends. Arlington County and Falls Church City have loads of great parks, trails and rec areas. I enjoy riding my bike on the W&OD trail, practicing yoga at Sun and Moon in Cherrydale, and playing outdoor tennis.
What is the most significant change in real estate during your career?
Technology has changed things dramatically. In my opinion, it happened when smartphones and tablets were first introduced to consumers. Home search websites already existed but it was smartphones and tablets that helped shape the future tech trends in real estate and many businesses. I remember seeing the first Apple iPad commercial and immediately wanting to trade in my Motorola Q for an iPhone and iPad because I knew it would make handling business much more efficient. It’s amazing how far we’ve come with technology—we live in a very progressive time.
