Maureen McEnearney Dunn
Which woman inspires you and why?
My mom was amazing. The wife of a career naval officer who later started our company, she handled frequent moves and six kids with great confidence. She was a thoughtful friend, good listener, and a tireless worker, always involved in our many schools and communities as we moved around. She and my dad instilled a strong sense of community in our family and in the company.
What are your top priorities?
McEnearney Associates has had an enviable 38-year reputation for attracting exceptional agents to our firm. Our goal is “to be the best” and to serve the best interests of our clients in every transaction. My top priorities are to support our agents and maintain our stellar reputation. We have professional offices; the best team of Managing Brokers; strong training, education and technology; and top-notch staff. Starting with great agents, this combination sets us apart from other companies.
What do you look forward to when you go to work every day?
The people. I work with and learn from our 350+ agents, seven Managing Brokers and 40 support staff in eight offices, plus terrific property management and relocation departments. Each office has its own identity. I love spending time with everyone.
How do you measure success?
All Realtors talk about “volume” and numbers of sales—that’s important to any bottom line and it’s one way of measuring “success.” Having great people—quality agents, managers and staff—is how we measure success. Our work has a huge impact on our clients’ lives—we better do it right. Keeping the focus on exceptional service is something we’ve done remarkably well for 38 years.
