Founded by Tim Winter in 2007, Paradigm Building Group is an award-winning family owned and operated design/build firm dedicated to architectural integrity and customer service.

“We offer a truly unique design/build experience,” says Winter. “We have developed a process that provides our clients a sense of ease and clarity through the entire project.”

By placing a particular emphasis on transparency and open communication, the “Paradigm Process” positions clients and Paradigm team members as partners. “The Paradigm Process–and our caring team who executes it–is ultimately what sets us apart in a very crowded home building industry,” says Winter.

The Paradigm team has the vision, expertise and ability to help clients meet their home-related goals, whether building a new home, or reinventing their current space with a pop-top addition. And for the firm, satisfying customers is the ultimate goal. “It’s not just about building houses, it’s about making an impact in our clients’ lives, improving how they live and how they enjoy their home,” says Winter.

As a one-stop shop, Paradigm can help clients achieve their goals and solutions while enjoying the convenience of working with a single firm. Their experienced architect and production team has long-established relationships with vendors and tradesmen, allowing them to fulfill any request a client might present.

In addition to playing a key role in reinventing older communities and homes for local homebuyers, the firm has a worldview that extends beyond Arlington’s borders. Their charitable arm, Paradigm Foundation, builds homes for families living in extreme poverty in third world countries. It’s yet another example of Paradigm’s desire to make an impact—whether around the corner or around the globe.
