Perhaps no one can better understand the challenges facing an individual with hearing loss than another confronting the same issue. Arlington Hearing Center’s Dr. Sandra L. Romano is fully aware—for she is a hearing aid user herself.
For over 30 years, Dr. Romano has been dedicated to providing the highest-quality hearing health care to patients. Her clinical expertise and friendly demeanor combine to create a professional and pleasant experience for patients.
The technology involved in audiology is constantly evolving. The latest innovations include Bluetooth streaming directly into the hearing aid, and Smartphone integration to control specific aspects of hearing environments.
As a recipient of the American Speech and Hearing Association’s prestigious ASHA Scholar designation, Dr. Romano prides herself in continuous education in audiology. “Recent strides in hearing aid technology in the last year alone have been remarkable,” says Dr. Romano. “The newest hearing aids deliver better clarity and much better hearing in noisy environments. Now is the time to take a stand toward better hearing.”
Arlington Hearing Center offers all major brands of hearing aids at all price points. Because hearing aids are highly personal, patients can “demo” them and associated accessories in Dr. Romano’s office.
Since it takes people, on average, 6 to 7 years to recognize a decline in their hearing capabilities, it’s important to have hearing tested for a baseline around ages 55 to 60. Arlington Hearing Center can help you get started on the path to healthy hearing.
“I work hard to make hearing easy,” says Dr. Romano. “Knowing that my hard work helps patients hear better and brings them greater fulfillment in life gives me great satisfaction.”
