How would your clients describe you?
My clients would say I’m different—both from their past experience(s) with other agents and from their pre-conceived expectations of what value an agent could bring to the table. They would say I’m willing to ask the deeper questions about their motivations/goals, and I’m their fierce advocate and a skilled negotiator. I think they’d also say I’m funny, too (but looks aren’t everything).
What is your professional and educational background?
I went to Dartmouth and Vanderbilt Law. I practiced law for seven years and in 2003 joined my brother Hans as a residential real estate agent. Three years ago, we formed our own boutique brokerage, Wydler Brothers Real Estate. It became one of the most highly respected luxury brokerages in the area and was just acquired by Compass.
As an elite team under Compass’ banner, the Wydler Brother’s mission hasn’t changed: to provide our clients with sound business advice and represent their interests with the highest level of
professionalism, intelligence and integrity in the industry.
What are your interests outside of work?
My family loves to travel. We’ve had the good fortune to travel overseas as well as to visit much of the United States. When not working, I likely can be found embarrassing my teenage daughters, playing squash (slowly) or golf (poorly).
