What do you offer your clients that other agents might not?
My experience with design and land acquisition allows me to approach every transaction from multiple angles. I’ve always had an eye for design and I’ve worked with Dan Troutman of Troutman Homes for years. We collaborate on the layout and design features of the homes he builds and I select the granite, tile, cabinetry and lighting. I put my design expertise to work when staging my clients’ homes—this is an essential service that I always provide free of charge. Through my land acquisition experience, I’ve become familiar with setback rules, property values and growth trends in this area. I also worked as a legal secretary for many years, so I have a knowledge base of the language used in contracts and I know when to tell my clients that they should consult an attorney. I combine all of these skillsets to help my clients in countless ways, whether they’re buying, selling or renting. Finally, we’re a small boutique firm with an outstanding broker, George Cranwell. George is a native Arlingtonian and an exceptional resource.
How are you involved in the community?
South Arlington is my home and my niche market. I raised my kids here. I was PTA president at their schools. I feel very strongly about giving back through local charities. Rather than doing a lot of postcards and mailers, I choose to put my marketing dollars back into the community. For example, I frequently donate to the athletic department at Wakefield High School and I recently helped purchase their scoreboard. I’ve lived here since 1992 and I’m proud of the reputation I’ve built, not only with my clients but also with appraisers, builders and other agents. I’m reliable, knowledgeable, easy to work with and dedicated to this community.
