Where to Celebrate New Year’s Eve

This town's got options—whether your idea of fun is a bar bash with live music, a winter street festival, a cozy dinner or a daytime party for the kiddos.

The Renegade

Already mourning the loss of Clarendon Ballroom? Fret not. A piece of it lives on across the street at the recently opened The Renegade, a new venture for chef (and self-described “commissioner of awesome”) Patrick Crump. The place is part bar, part restaurant, part live music venue and part coffee shop, but on New Year’s Eve, it promises DJ Moe Live performing from 9 p.m. to closing, $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon cans, $5 green tea shooters, giveaways throughout the night and a free champagne toast.

Cost: No cover charge; pay for what you buy.
When: 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: 3100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington
