Where to Go for Easter Brunch
Celebrate the season with Scotch eggs, leg of lamb, raw bar, Bloody Marys, brioche goodies and more.
2941 Restaurant
The upscale Falls Church restaurant is normally closed on Sundays, but not on Easter. Chef Bertrand Chemel and his team have developed a special three-course menu ($78) for the holiday with service starting at 11 a.m. Expect spring dishes like an elevated shrimp cocktail with lemon zest and tomato foam; jumbo white asparagus with zucchini blossom tempura; and risotto with braised morels and pea shoots; plus traditional Easter options such as a duo of Elysian Fields Farm lamb. Good luck choosing only one of pastry chef Nick Pine’s gorgeous desserts. The options include carrot cake with cream-cheese mousse; orange marmalade and coconut sorbet; and chocolate crème brûlée with chocolate alfajores, a South America cookie traditionally filled with dulce de leche.
