Cult-status subs and pizza notwithstanding, The Italian Store’s Westover location has an espresso bar serving European-style illy coffee and fresh gelato. The indoor seating is mostly limited to a stretch of bar stools by the window, but in warmer months the outdoor patio presents a lovely spot (with both sun and umbrellas) where you can bring your dog to work if you’re so inclined. Try an espresso affogato-style (poured over gelato), or go for a Nutella Caldo (espresso mixed with cold milk and Nutella) if you’re craving something extra sweet.
