This year, family-owned Rocco’s is celebrating four decades of serving New York- and Chicago-style pizzas in McLean. Known for its 4-ounce meatballs and all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta specials on Monday and Tuesdays, the restaurant over the years has added gluten-free crusts and extensive seafood options, including a white pizza piled with clams, shrimp, calamari and mussels. The meat-tastic Pope’s Blessing is a perpetual crowd-pleaser for carnivores, topped with bacon, meatballs, sausage and more bacon (plus some vegetables).
