Shirlington’s newly opened DGB, a spin-off of Big Buns in Ballston, offers a daily happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. with $2 off boozy crushies and slushies. Choose from three crushie options: the Blackberry Shrubble (London dry gin, blackberry cardamom shrub, lemon sorbet and soda splash); the Naughty Negroni (Campari, Carpano Antica sweet vermouth and London dry gin); or the Young Fashioned (maple syrup, bacon fat-washed bourbon and house BBQ bitters). One of the adult slushies, the Blood Orange Strongarita, is made with Sauza tequila, blood orange puree, lime juice and simple syrup ($8 for 12 oz. or $10.50 for 16 oz.)
