Arlington’s Inaugural Restaurant Week Runs Oct. 21-28
More than two dozen local kitchens will offer special menus and discounts. Here's the dish on what to eat.
Local foodies rejoice—Arlington is staging its very first hometown Restaurant Week, orchestrated by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. That means you can chow down on deals at more than two dozen local eateries from Oct. 21-28. We reached out to a few participating restaurants (here’s the full list) to find out what’s cooking.
The Filipino restaurant’s Resto Week menus will highlight many of its most popular dishes. Lunch ($22 per person) brings four different three-course menus to choose from, one of which is entirely vegetarian. Same thing goes for dinner ($32 per person). Expect tasty fare like fried veggie fritters with shrimp, green beans, carrots, sweet potato and a lemon-soy dipping sauce; thinly sliced beef tenderloin topped with sautéed onions and a lemon-soy sauce; and a cashew-meringue layer cake with purple-yam buttercream. // 900 N. Glebe Road, Suite #100, Arlington (Ballston)
The ever-popular Greek chainlet is offering a four-course, prix fixe menu for $30. Choose among five dip/salad options, six vegetable/cheese options and five meat/seafood options. The entree choices include salmon, grilled shrimp, chicken souvlaki, grilled meatballs or mini gyros. But for an additional $5, you can upgrade to lamb shank orzo, steak kebobs, lamb chops, crabcakes or branzino. // 2940 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington (Clarendon)
