Grab a water bottle, towel and maybe a yoga mat, and get your sweat on at these no-cost classes in and around America’s fittest city. Most of them take place outdoors, and all of them are open to all experience levels.

Arlington County Parks and Rec
Take a 45-minute, bodyweight-only Muscle Conditioning class as part of the parks and rec department’s drop-in fitness program. For instance, you can get pumped on Mondays at 12:15 p.m.at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center courts (3501 S. 2nd St., Arlington), Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. at Lubber Run Community Center (300 N. Park Drive, Arlington) and Thursdays at Thomas Jefferson Community Center plaza at 5:30 p.m. Check the website for a link to activity schedules.
The Boro Tysons
Every other Thursday, Body Fit Training Tysons brings the sweat with a free high-intensity workout that blends cardio and resistance training to build lean muscle and boost endurance. Flex and Flow at Founders Row
Fitness coach Britt Daniels leads this weekly series, which wraps up June 24, 6:30-7:30 p.m., with puppy yoga. Support Petey and Furends, a local nonprofit dedicated to animal rescue and advocacy, while you get centered and balanced. Fit @ The Fountain
This free outdoor, instructor-led series from DC Fray and the National Landing BID is back with classes Mondays, 6-7 p.m., at Met Park from June 9-July 28. On Wednesdays at 6 p.m. through Sept. 24, sweat it out to a weekly bodyweight, high-intensity interval training session on the rooftop of Market Garage at Mosaic District. All abilities are welcome. The Yoga in the Park series happens every Tuesday at 6 p.m. through Sept. 23. Stop by the plaza at George Mason University’s Arlington campus for fitness and fun almost every weekday evening through Aug. 8. Not only is this class free, but you can get get paid to stretch in Upside on Moore’s Marigold Room every other Wednesday from 7-8 a.m. Each attendee will leave feeling lengthened, calm and ready to spend the $5 gift card they can cash in at any the food hall’s vendors on the day of the class.
