The Dominion Guild Merry Market
This women’s service organization that supports local charities will host its Merry Market on Nov. 18, 5-9 p.m., and Nov. 19, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The theme for the evening kick-off event is “Bubbly & Bites,” and a $55 ticket includes admission for both dates. The 21st annual market returns to the nation’s capital Nov. 21-Dec. 23 with a bonanza of giftables from more than 100 artist and makers, from Turkish towels by Olive & Loom to houseplants by Arlington’s own Plants & What Knot. Plan your stops with this map of vendors selling apparel, arts and crafts, books and prints, candles, home decor, jewelry, and toys. Mosaic Holiday Village Weekends
URBNmarket presents two festive street market weekends at Mosaic District, on Nov. 22-23 and Dec. 13-14, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The long list of participating vendors includes pet-themed housewares from the ever-popular Naked Decor, heavenly soaps from Arlington-based Lemon & Whim and bracelets by B.Birdwatcher. 46th Christmas Bazaar at St. John the Beloved
This festive annual event at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church includes live music, a magic show by Michael Chamberlain, a silent auction that runs through Nov. 21 and a bake sale. Ballston’s Singing Tree is a local holiday favorite. Melwood’s Annual Miracle on 23rd Street
Kick off the holiday season with this free community event Dec. 5, 5-8 p.m., at Melwood Arlington, which supports children, youth and adults with disabilities. New this year is a holiday market where some small businesses are operated by people with disabilities and kids. In addition to that, the celebration includes a tree lighting, photos with Santa, s’mores, a video gaming truck, a snowball fight and crafts. 65th Annual Washington-Liberty High School Holiday Bazaar
Take a gander at houseware, jewelry, ceramics and more, all handmade by 90-plus local artists and artisans at this market Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Some of the participating vendors include block-printed linens from Lovely Lady Linens, art prints and earrings by Julie Gross, and pocket pillows from Evie’s Pillows.
