The Junior League of Northern Virginia (JLNV), a volunteer organization that empowers women to be a driving force to improve the Northern Virginia community, held its eighth annual Strides For Success 5K Race and 1K Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center. More than 200 attendees enjoyed children’s yoga, face painting, a “Toddler Dash” and more.
All proceeds benefit the JLNV’s mission, including community programs such as Kids in the Kitchen, an anti-obesity program that promotes healthy eating habits and fitness.
JLNV would like to thank its donors, supporters, participants and dedicated volunteers for a successful event.
