Say sayonara to summer with one last hurrah this Labor Day weekend. Make the most of the extra day off work by taking a road trip to nearby resorts with activities to dazzle visitors of all ages and interests. Here are six great destinations within a four-hour drive of Arlington.

Located about an hour from Arlington, this newly opened boutique hotel occupies a revamped house dating to 1885. Before the show, spend the day mountain biking, slipping and sliding at the indoor and outdoor water parks, or tackling obstacles at the outdoor adventure course.
