Dr. Brian Chang is a double Ivy league-educated, board-certified plastic surgeon, specializing in aesthetic face, breast and body surgery in addition to microsurgical, autologous breast cancer reconstruction.
Patients of Brian Chang, MD, describe him as attentive, personable and deeply involved throughout the surgical process. Known for his hands-on approach, he maintains close communication with patients from consultation through recovery. “I value being present and accessible,” he says. “Patients know they can reach me directly at any point in their care.”
Dr. Chang specializes in facial aesthetics, especially eyelid surgery and face and neck rejuvenation. His work often combines upper and lower blepharoplasty with brow and midface techniques to achieve results that are balanced, natural and structurally refined. He also does deep-plane face and neck lifts as well as comprehensive upper and lower eyelid and brow surgeries. He completed a dedicated fellowship in Korea, focusing on eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and facial contouring tailored to Asian anatomy and aesthetic preferences. “I use a special, nuanced approach for my Asian patients,” he explains. “Asian people have different facial anatomy, both of the bones and soft tissues, compared to people of other ethnicities. I specialize in Asian eyelid, rhinoplasty and jawline contouring surgeries.”
Dr. Chang is particularly drawn to the continuity of the surgical experience. He takes joy in accompanying his patients through the entire surgical journey, from initial consultation, where he listens to their concerns and works to collectively form a treatment plan, to performing very technically demanding and nuanced surgeries, and finally seeing how happy they are with their results. “Each plan is highly individualized,” he says. “It’s a collaborative process, where patients are closely involved in defining their outcome.”
