Q: What does stepping into a practice that’s been part of this community for nearly 60 years mean to you?
A: It’s such an honor. When Dr. Jack Phass Jr. started this practice in 1968, he built it around personal, compassionate care. His kids, Dr. Sophia and Dr. Dean, spent 30 years honoring everything he created. Now it’s our turn and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
As a Navy spouse, I’ve moved a lot, so I know what it means to finally find a place where you feel known and cared for. That’s what this practice has been for so many families here, for generations. For me, it’s about protecting what makes it special, building on it and making sure every person who walks in feels the warmth and trust that’s been here from the beginning. That part doesn’t change.
Q: What is your approach to care?
A: I approach every patient with a whole-health perspective—your mouth and your overall well-being are inextricably linked—and I love being the one to help people understand that connection. I take time to walk them through their diagnoses and treatment options so they can make informed decisions that best fit their needs and lifestyles. Whether you’re here for a routine cleaning, a smile makeover, clear aligners, implants, TMD or sleep apnea concerns, or therapeutic Botox, the experience should always feel comfortable, personal and maybe even a little fun! Everything I do comes from a genuine love of helping people look and feel their best.
