She’s partial to chocolate cake doughnuts, while he prefers yeast ones fried with cinnamon and powdered sugar. But they share a love for those moments when customers call on their business—whose stakeholders include retired military service members—to sweeten up events ranging from milestone celebrations (including a recent engagement photo shoot) to a regular old gloomy Monday.
