Q: What advice would you offer for women just starting out?
A: Trust your instincts and don’t wait until you feel completely ready. Most growth happens before confidence catches up. Take the opportunity, ask the question, start the business. You can figure out a lot along the way. For me, that meant opening my own practice, treating patients wherever I could and believing in a vision that didn’t yet exist. Taking that leap allowed me to build a business aligned with my values and create the kind of patient experience I always wanted to see: high-quality care delivered with empathy, integrity and attention to detail.
Q: What do you look forward to when you go to work every day?
A: The relationships, without question. I love seeing familiar faces, hearing life updates, celebrating milestones and being part of people’s journeys. Helping someone feel more confident in their skin is incredibly rewarding, but it’s the trust we build over time that makes this work so meaningful. Serving such a diverse area, we’re fortunate to care for people from many backgrounds and life experiences, which challenges us to continually learn, grow and provide the best care possible.
Q: What will be the biggest challenge for the generation of women behind you?
A: Learning to separate their own goals from the constant noise of social media. Women today are exposed to endless comparisons and pressure to keep up with someone else’s version of success. The challenge will be staying grounded in who they are, staying true to their values and defining success on their own terms.
