Our Work
For this Arlington family, the vision went beyond a beautiful remodel: they wanted a home for raising their kids and staying put for the long haul. Our team of architects and construction experts focused on a design that their family would adapt to over time while making the most of the existing home. In this home, that meant opening a compartmentalized kitchen while using varied ceiling heights to keep each space feeling distinct. Larger windows and a skylight brought in more natural light and strengthened the connection to the backyard. We also turned one existing bathroom into two, creating a powder room and private guest bath while making smart use of the existing plumbing. In the primary bathroom, we kept the large windows but frosted them for privacy, keeping the natural light. And at the heart of the room, a beautiful copper tub became the natural centerpiece.
