What is the most significant change in real estate during your career?
Over the last few years, inventory in the Arlington area has been extremely tight. The buzz words are always “pre-market” or “coming soon” as buyers look for opportunities to beat other buyers and avoid a bidding war. I’m proud that six of my 21 buyer sales in 2018 were off market sales.
What’s an example of something in your professional life that you’re particularly proud of?
I’ve been selling real estate for 11 years. I started on my own, without a big network of people in the area. In 2008, I began writing a blog called ArlingtonRealEstateNews.com and my business took off. Living in Clarendon, I knew the market well and started to gain peoples’ trust. I’ve worked really hard over the last decade to continue earning that trust and, more importantly, maintaining it through multiple transactions. My business is 95% based on repeat clients or referrals.
