The historic town about an hour’s drive from Arlington is hosting its 19th annual sidewalk sale Aug. 1-3, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (hours on day three may vary by shop) with plenty of deals. Look for colorful balloons outside participating boutiques such as Crème de la Crème (pottery, ceramics and linens), Zest Clothing and Co., Tilley’s Pet Supplies, The PLAYroom (a toy store), and The Accidental Peacock (antiques).
