Where to Order Super Bowl Takeout Around Arlington

The lineup for Super Bowl LX is set, with the Seattle Seahawks battling the New England Patriots on Feb. 8. Now it’s time to plan your game-day menu. Don’t feel like cooking? No sweat. These fan-favorite takeout spots are serving up barbecue, pizza, tacos, wings, subs, beer and plenty of dips.

Rocklands Barbeque & Grilling Co.

Crowned Best Barbecue joint by Arlington Magazine readers, Rocklands is offering a special takeout menu that’s heavy on sharable appetizers. Build a tailgate spread with choices such as pigs in a blanket with whiskey mustard ($47.76 for 24 pieces), sweet and spicy meatballs ($30 for 24 pieces), dill pickle dip with pretzels ($24.99; serves 15) and deviled eggs ($30 for 24 pieces). The restaurant’s famed pulled pork makes its way into loaded nachos ($39.99; serves 12), and for pescatarians, there’s grilled shrimp ($34.99 a pound). Need extra tables and chairs? The Italian Store

You can never go wrong with a sandwich board of bite-size subs (24 pieces for $79.99 or 32 for $99.99) from this family-owned takeout with locations in Westover and Lyon Village. Spring for an assortment of Italian hoagies, or build an all-American spread featuring roast beef, turkey and ham and cheese. You can also customize the spread with four sandwiches of your choosing. The Falls

This neighborly Falls Church eatery is offering two different packages that can be ordered in advance (or even same day) while supplies last. The Touchdown Bundle ($185) serves eight to 10 people and includes a choice of brisket, smoked pulled pork and/or pulled chicken, a dozen potato rolls and a two sidesthink crispy Brussels sprouts or Yukon gold potato salad—plus apps such as cornbread or queso with chips. The Great Falls Bundle ($525) serves 30 with a feast of similar choices, plus three dozen deviled eggs. This hip pizzeria from the team behind bagel juggernaut Call Your Mother is known for its “Neapolitan-ish” pies. A game day special, the Timber Combo, includes a dozen wings and two cheese or pepperoni pizzas for $45. Taquería Xochi 

Founded by two veterans of José Andrés’ Think Food Group, this DMV taqueria brings its A-game with the popular cheesy beef quesabirria. To feed a crowd on Super Bowl Sunday, snag “La Jugada” platte, which consists of 12 tacos for $60. The deal is available for takeout and delivery. You can add on $10 margaritas to-go, too. 1450 S. Taco Bamba

Yes, tacos are the namesake of this beloved go-to by chef Victor Albisu, but don’t forget the wings. Back by popular demand, the Big Game Platter ($89) includes 18 dry-rubbed chicken wings with your choice of chili garlic, poblano ranch or Bamba buffalo sauce for dunking. The wing-centric Ballston sports bar is offering three game day packages for groups ranging from small shindigs to larger gatherings. The Blitz ($60) feeds four to six people with 30 wings and an appetizer like onion rings or mozzarella sticks. The Huddle Up ($90), designed for six to 10, packs in 50 wings and loaded nachos. This Clarendon ‘cue joint is offering seven different to-go boxes, each with a different vibe. A smoker appetizer box ($80) is packed with smoked turkey meatballs and pork belly burnt ends. Yet another focuses on finger foods like southwest brisket egg rolls. The Super Bowl carryout menu at Chef Matt Hill’s Southern-leaning neighborhood restaurant is supremely scalable. Opt for crispy spiced wings in quantities ranging from 10 to 40 ($17-$50), smoked meats by the pound ($26-$38) and family-style sides like Brussels sprouts or biscuits ($14-$18). Or supplement your own spread with an order of pimento cheese dip ($10-$18). A “build-your-own nacho bar” ($40) serves six to eight guests with a pound of pulled pork, homemade chips and toppings like salsa rojo and queso.
