Ever wonder how former Washington Capitals star T.J. Oshie chilled when he wasn’t on the ice? Here’s a look inside the 11,400-square-foot McLean estate on Dogue Hill Lane that he shared with his wife, Lauren. It sold this month for $9.3 million.

Built in 2021 in the cul-de-sac enclave of The Lane on Georgetown Pike, the home features a minimalist kitchen with top-tier appliances, custom cabinetry and two waterfall-edge central islands. Lauren Oshie, a social media influencer, had a heavy hand in the natural palette and sleek look of the home.

White oak wood floors and lots of windows give the family room plenty of natural light. The modern fireplace is the room’s focal point.

The lower level features a glass-enclosed, temperature-controlled wine cellar with counter space outside for wine tastings and social events.

Like the family room, the living room is bright, sleek and sophisticated, with a marble fireplace as its centerpiece.

It tracks that a former hockey star t would need a roomy, state-of-the-art gym at the ready.

The house has a total of six bedrooms, including one that doubles as a massage room with access to a spa bath and steam shower. Take the elevator or stairs to get to all three of the home’s floors.

The spa-like marble bathroom in the owner’s suite features matching oversize vanities capped by marble waterfall countertops and Waterworks brass fixtures.

The exterior is as stunning as the inside, with a stone terrace, built-in fire pit and pool area. An upper terrace features an outdoor kitchen and fountain, plus a putting green.
Now retired after a 16-year career with the National Hockey League—10 of them with the Caps—Oshie recently signed on as a hockey analyst with ESPN.
