On August 30, 2017 U.S. Senator Kaine and State Senator Adam Ebbin visited New District Brewing Company on a surprise tour of local businesses. Kaine, who is running for re-election cited his interest in meeting local people outside of expensive fundraisers. The Senators enjoyed a pint and, mingled with visitors and staff. Senator Kaine also played his harmonica alongside local musician Travis Tucker during the brewery’s weekly live music.
