Where to Order Cinco de Mayo Takeout

This year, bring the fiesta home. Try these carryout and delivery options.

The stars are aligned and Cinco de Mayo 2020 falls on a Taco Tuesday. You can’t go to the cantina for dine-in service, but you can order tacos, margs and a whole lot more for curbside pickup or delivery. Make it a party.

Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Graham Bartlett, a protégé of chef Richard Sandoval (El Centro, Masa 14, ToroToro) launches his own fast-casual joint on May 5 in the Village at Shirlington, with options ranging from sweet corn empanadas and crab chilaquiles to tacos galore. Try the signature “pina + taco” with orange Fanta pork carnitas, dragon’s breath habanero and pineapple; or, for vegetarians, the “chile relleno” taco with cheese, roasted poblano peppers, chipotle salsa and tempura flakes. You can also grab frozen margaritas (sauza tequila, roasted pineapple and toasted spices) by the glass, pint or quart, to go.  A Cinco de Mayo backyard party package ($55, serves 4-6) features chips, salsa, guac, potato-cheese flautas, and your choice of two taco proteins, plus 24 corn tortillas, rice, beans, salsa and crema. // 4041 Campbell Ave., Arlington (Shirlington)
