6 Wicked Good Ways to Celebrate ‘Wicked’ Part 2 in NoVA

Wicked: For Good, part two of Universal Pictures’ Wicked, opens Nov. 21, and Northern Virginia is positively thrillified. Don your finest pink (Team Glinda) or green (Team Elphaba) outfit and celebrate the return of everyone’s favorite witches.

Sip limited-time cocktails inspired by the witches of Wicked for Good. Glinda’s Toss Toss is made with Tito’s Vodka, lemonade, grenadine and edible glitter, topped with a sugar rim, while Elphaba’s Elixir has Patrón Silver Tequila, blue curaçao, pineapple and orange juices, a swirl of edible glitter and a sugar rim. Wicked for Good featuring DJ Hammy

DJ Hammy’s musical mixes may inspire you to defy gravity at this Shipgarten party Nov. 21, 9 p.m.-2 a.m. For the 21-and-up crowd, the libations include Glinda- and Elphaba-inspired cocktails. The Ozmopolitan blends vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juices. The Ozpresso Martini combines vodka, Kahlua, simple syrup and a shot of espresso. Admission is free. 7581 Colshire Drive, McLean

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema

The movie is 137 minutes long, giving you plenty of time to chow down on menu specials while you watch the action on the big screen. On-theme eats include a Pink & Green Pizza with tomato cream and spinach pesto sauces. Make it a Go For Good by adding broccoli and red peppers, or Make It Wicked with pepperoni and sausage. Alternately, tuck into a Good-Wich, a chicken pita sammie. Here’s your chance: Anyone who’s interested can belt out “For Good,” from the movie’s soundtrack, as part of Gaia Music Collective’s One-Day Choir series, which invites anyone to sing in a choir for a day.
