5 Things to Eat and Drink This Week

Tickle your taste buds with May the Fourth pierogi, Cinco de Mayo margs, Mother's Day feasts and more.

Just in time for May the Fourth, Zofia’s Kitchen is offering a limited series of punny pierogi from a galaxy far, far away. Special flavors include the Obi-Won pierogi (stuffed with a “Tatooine tagine” of braised chicken, almonds, harissa and couscous); the Baby Yoda (peas mint, lemon, ricotta); the C-Threepierogi (blanched multicolored vegetable pasta/standard Android wiring); and the Vader (chorizo and provolone), which comes with this cheeky note from chef Ed Hardy: “Note that the white cheese inside represents the good that must be in him still!” The specials are available May 3-7 (8 to an order), steamed, sautéed, fried or frozen in carbonite, by request.
