Take a Winter Walk At Long Branch Nature Center
If your kids are entranced by birds, squirrels and other critters, take a winter bird walk on Dec. 30, or learn about nocturnal flying squirrels on Dec. 28. Registration is required, but free, and loaner binoculars are available. The Glencarlyn facility also features exhibits, live animal displays, interpretive gardens and a viewing pond.
