In good times and bad, food brings people together and is a source of celebration and comfort. Arlington Restaurant Week brings discounts to boot. Between Oct. 12-19, find dining deals at more than 80 local eateries to make your taste buds sing. Here’s a small sample of what’s cooking.

If you haven’t yet visited this stylish newcomer in the former Wilson Hardware space, here’s your chance. The three-course prix-fixe menu ($40) starts with options such as sweet potato buns, pork dumplings or zucchini croquettes, then progresses to rib-stickers such as chicken parm, beetroot risotto, cavatelli with mushrooms, or a big, messy (in the best way) burger with mushrooms and Taleggio cheese. Save room for cheesecake, flourless chocolate cake with caramelized banana, or a vanilla sundae with toppings galore. An extra $16 brings two wine pairings. 2915 Wilson Blvd., Arlington (Clarendon)

Himalayan Wild Yak

For meaty options beyond the usual chicken and steak, the signature dishes at this Ballston eatery center on yak, a lean protein indigenous to Tibet, Mongolia and Nepal. A special $35 three-course Restaurant Week menu features yak as a dumpling filler, as well as roasted and in korma sauce. Other hearty temptations include skewered wild boar and lamb. Prefer vegetarian? Ask for the crispy kale chat and palak paneer (spinach with cubed cheese). Dessert is kurauni, a traditional Nepali treat. 1010 N. Glebe Road, Arlington (Ballston)

The Liberty Tavern

This beloved tavern has been a Clarendon fixture for nearly 20 years, but its menu is ever fresh and interesting with new, seasonal dishes on rotation. For $55, dig into a three-course feast with choices like butternut squash soup, Maryland crab dip, an autumnal salad, wood-oven pizzas, housemade pastas, grilled diver scallops, roasted half chicken and a sorghum-glazed pork chop. For dessert, start dreaming now about chocolate mousse with pumpkin pie creme anglaise, salted pretzel carrot cake or caramel apple tiramisu. 3195 Wilson Blvd., Arlington (Clarendon)

Restaurant Week brings a five-course tasting menu ($65) to this winsome sushi bar in East Falls Church. The journey starts with a “bump” of Hokkaido uni (sea urchin) or caviar, then progresses through servings of beetroot salad, tuna tataki, assorted nigiri or sashimi, your choice of over-the-top rolls (such as a lobster volcano roll with avocado and smoked trout roe) and ice cream as a finisher. Tucked inside Arlington’s newly renovated Le Meridien Hotel, this stylist newcomer’s fourth-floor terrace offers sweeping views of the Potomac River and Washington, D.C. skyline. If it’s chilly out, cozy up fireside and give the kitchen’s American brasserie fare a taste. The $49.99, three-course meal features calamari fritti with hot pepper and zesty tartar sauce, steak frites or lemon chicken piccata, and for a sweet finish, two scoops of chocolate of vanilla gelato. Dine like a Spaniard when you partake of a three-course dinner ($55), lunch or brunch ($35) at this local gem owned by Arlington couple Javier Candon and Christiana Campos. The tempting starters include Crema de Calabaza (squash soup with a balsamic reduction) or salmon tartare. Save room for mains such as Carrilleras de Cerdo Estofadas (braised pork cheeks with potato, Iberian ham and cream) or the Chipirones Rellenos (stuffed squid with herb-infused rice). For a sweet coda, dig into pineapple ravioli with coconut and rum sauce, or chocolate pancakes stuffed with cream and accompanied by raspberry sorbet. 1110 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington (Ballston)

This all-day cafe with a gastroadvocacy mission has two dinner offerings and a lunch special. For $40, enjoy a global spread including Indian Samosas, Chicken Milanesa and a dessert of Latin Flan. For a slight upcharge ($55), the options include Caribbean Shrimp Ceviche with passion fruit, chili and red pepper relish; Roasted Branzino; and tropical beignets for dessert. The lunch deal at this 2026 Best of Arlington winner includes choices such as gazpacho, an Old Saigon Sandwich (the kitchen’s take on a banh mi sandwich) and cookies. 4245 N. You can also take a culinary world tour during lunch or dinner at this artsy Shirlington eatery, where diners can enjoy live entertainment and watching local artists and jewelry makers at work. The kitchen’s bottomless dinner ($38.22) and bottomless lunch (28.22) deals feature two courses and a drink special. Mains include baja fish tacos, tuna nigiri or a pizza diavola moderna. Dessert is the Not Tiramisu (chocolate custard, espresso gelee, lady finger crumble and marsala). With bistro vibes and massive bar, this new Ballston hot spot serves French brasserie fare and classic cocktails, which you can sample during Restaurant Week with a $65 prix fixe meal. Begin with a quintessential French starter such as steak tartare, chicken pate or French onion soup, then move on to mains including the pork chop martini (bone-in, pan-fried with cherry peppers and martini sauce) or a wagyu French dip with thinly sliced ribeye. 3901 Fairfax Drive, Arlington (Ballston)

A longstanding local favorite in the Lee-Harrison Shopping Center, this Japanese restaurant is offering a four-course dinner for $36. Enjoy your choice of miso soup or garden salad, followed by edamame, seaweed salad, gyoza or shumai. Then fill up on chicken teriyaki or select sushi rolls. If you can fit it in, dessert is matcha green tea or strawberry mochi ice cream. 2457 N. Harrison St., Arlington (Yorktown)

The Italian Store

Prefer to takeout? Grab a classic Italian dinner for two at either location of this family-owned specialty shop. The $30 offer includes crispy Italian bread, your choice of salad (Caesar or mixed garden) and chicken parmesan or baked ziti. 5837 Washington Blvd., Arlington (Westover) or 3123 Langston Blvd., Arlington (Lyon Village)

The ever-popular bistro is serving up two dinnertime options, both of which include wine, beer or a mocktail. The $55 menu features choices such as Shotgun Shrimp (a starter) and Chicken Paillard or jambalaya as a main. The $65 menu features wagyu meatball sliders, steak frites or braised short rib. Both menus wrap up with your choice of brioche bread pudding or a Nutella trifle. If you’re in the area for lunch, $35 gets you a parmesan kale salad or fried Brussels sprouts with blue cheese, plus blackened Atlantic salmon or a Circa burger. 3010 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington (Clarendon)

Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe

Doughnuts aren’t the only draw at this all-day cafe and Best of Arlington 2026 winner, but they certainly sweeten the deal.  Good Company’s Restaurant Week lunch specials include five hearty rice bowls with a choice of chicken, brisket or chickpeas, plus lettuce, cheddar, house-made coleslaw and avocado.
