Azi Flowers
Azeb Woldie’s storefront on Columbia Pike has arrangements in every color of the rainbow. Trade the standard red roses for a bouquet of pink and creamy orange blossoms, or peruse bouquets with apt names like Love You Forever (red roses, white spray roses and calla lilies), Cupid’s Arrow (pink roses, lisianthus, and red alstroemeria), and My Heart’s Desire (roses, lisianthus, dahlias, sweet William and caspia, all in shades of purples and lavender). 3045 Columbia Pike, Arlington (Columbia Pike)

Botanologica
For the first time, this petite boutique in the heart of Falls Church City is offering fresh, locally-grown flowers for Valentine’s Day, says Sarah Orrison, who owns the shop with her valentine, Nick. “A few of our farmers have been growing in greenhouses this winter, allowing us to provide fresh bouquets year-round.” Preorder a bouquet, or stop in for heart-shaped plants, like the Hoya Kerrii “Sweetheart Plant” or Portulacaria Afra. The shelves will also be overflowing with Aglaonema “Valentine” plants and flowering Anthurium in pinks and reds in the lead up to Feb. 14. 817 W. Broad St., Falls Church

Company Flowers
Brightening Arlington since 1997, this Cherrydale flower shop and Best of Arlington 2026 winner has several arrangements on offer for Valentine’s Day. Swifties will swoon over the Opalite (an homage to the third track on Taylor’s latest album), featuring dusty-pink roses and purple-hued petals. The sultry Hot Love is “a bold, rose-forward arrangement bursting with passion and color,” while the Coquette is all pretty in pink. The merch also includes plants, gifts and cards. 2107 N. Pollard St., Arlington

The Flower Bloom Studio
Yekaterina Allotey fell in love with floral design doing weddings and events in her native Belarus. Two years ago, she hung a shingle on Columbia Pike, opening Kat Flowers Design & Decor. The shop was subsequently acquired by Flower Bloom Studio last fall, but Allotey remains on board as its lead floral designer. For Valentine’s Day, the classy Pink Lady includes an assortment of pink blossoms, including roses and orchids. Add a card, teddy bear or chocolates. Order online or via email by Feb. 1 to get 10% off with code LOVE26. 2342 Columbia Pike, Arlington
Flowers & Plants, Etc.
Bev and Arnold Krauss opened this family-owned flower shop in 1976, and their son, Chip, and his wife, Sonya, joined the team in the late 1980s. Today, the store’s old-meets-new aesthetic balances traditional and modern styles. For an over-the-top gesture of love, splurge on the WOW!, a stunning bouquet packed with 50, 75 or 100 roses, available in white, red, yellow, peach, pink, lavender or hot pink. 1378 Chain Bridge Road, McLean
Full Bloom
This Clarendon florist doesn’t take walk-ins, so you’ll need to plan ahead. Place orders for delivery, or text on arrival for curbside pickup. On-theme arrangements for the amorous holiday include the Love Alstro, featuring alstroemerias, aka Lily of the Incas. (A note for pet owners: these lilies are not toxic to cats, although they can still cause GI issues.) 3260 Wilson Blvd., Arlington (Clarendon)
Galleria Florist
This Little City shop delivers big smiles in the form of colorful flowers and leafy designs in simple containers. For Valentine’s Day, go traditional with Endless Love of Roses, a fragrant arrangement of roses and eucalyptus. The less traditional (but no less romantic) Ocean Song finds purple, lavender and pink blooms in a clear rectangular vase. 455 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church
The Happy Hour Flowers
Here’s a gift option for gardeners who enjoy cultivating their own romantic blossoms. Co-founders Mary Shaffer and Miranda Kerr are proponents of DIY gardening and offer online growing guides for the corms, bulbs and tubers they sell for spring planting. The Romance Ranunculus collection includes pastel shades of the delicate, rose-like flower. 8100 Boone Blvd., Vienna (Tysons)

Founded in 1956 by Bill Dukas and his father-in-law, George Raptis, this go-to florist has evolved over the years, doubling in size and relocating from Seven Corners to Vienna. A Valentine’s Day Special on Multiflor’s website promises a vibrant mix of blooms such as roses, hydrangea, sweet pea, ranunculus, lisianthus, hyacinth and clematis. Minimalists will fall for the Bento, a shallow dish of orchids paired with moss and green mums. 3170 Draper Drive, Fairfax
