Crystal City FreshFarm Market
A few blocks from the Crystal City Metro station, the market operates 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. from April to November on Tuesdays. More than 20 farmers and producers are featured, including some from West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

New this year: Cipolla Rossa, of Wheaton, Md., which offers wood-fired pizza to eat at the market or take home; and Wild Peace Farm of Monkton, Md., which sells organic produce.
