Too busy to shop? Food-delivery options are multiplying, including three that recently expanded to Arlington.
The retailer launched its grocery delivery service in our area late last year — although there are no plans for drone-delivered milk quite yet. Prime customers in most Arlington- and McLean-eligible ZIP codes (search the list of ZIP codes here) can have groceries delivered for a monthly fee of $14.99, or delivery is free for orders over $40. Amazon’s offerings could expand exponentially in the future, especially since the company purchased Whole Foods Markets in June.
