Summer restaurant weeks are upon us! The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s annual food fest runs Aug. 24-30, with lunch, brunch and dinner deals galore. Some participating eateries are even extending the discounts an extra week, through Sept. 6. Here’s a sampler of what’s cooking during D.C. Restaurant Week on this side of the Potomac. (And if you just can’t wait, the inaugural Falls Church Restaurant Week is already underway in The Little City, running Aug. 21-30.)
Boulevard
This Clarendon newcomer in the former Wilson Hardware space will offer a $40 prix fixe menu with dishes such as house-made sweet potato buns or pork dumplings, cavatelli pasta with king mushrooms, vegan beetroot risotto and the Boulevard Burger with Taleggio cheese, caramelized onions, shiitake mushrooms, black garlic sauce, and salt-and-vinegar fries. B Side
Plan an outing to this Mosaic District haunt to indulge in brunch ($25) dishes such as beef fat fries, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, the Pancake Burger and Lemon Ricotta Donuts. Dinner ($40) brings grilled artichokes, Sicilian anchovies, Swedish meatballsand hickory-smoked brisket. The Rosslyn outpost of Fabio Trabocchi’s Michelin-recommended pasta house is participating in D.C. Restaurant Week with a tantalizing menu that costs $25 for lunch and $40 for dinner. Appetizers include watermelon gazpacho or arugula and parmesan salad. For the main dish, consider Roman Radiatore Cacio e Pepe, Swordfish Milanese or a pork chop for an upcharge. Yume Sushi
Feeling opulent? The $65 dinner menu at this East Falls Church sushi destination features five courses, starting with the Uni Bump or Caviar Bump, both adorned 24-karat gold dust. Next up: beetroot salad; your choice of tataki- or carpaccio-style bluefin tuna, yellowtail or salmon; and a third course comprising four pieces of nigiri or sashimi. For the main event, select The Winner (sushi rice, barbecue eel, ankimo, bluefin tuna, caviar and truffle oil) or the Lobster Volcano Roll. This Best of Arlington 2026 winner for craft cocktails is firing up the kitchen with some tempting food pairings. During Restaurant Week, a $55 dinner menu includes crispy pork belly, tuna tartare nachos and house-made gnocchi—and those are just the starters. Choices for the main course include Blue Crab Fettuccine Aglio E Olio, Green Curry Tuna or a wagyu burger. Taqueria Xochi
Eat your fill of Mexican fare during brunch ($25), lunch ($25) or dinner ($40) at this Pentagon City cantina. Late-morning and lunch options include nachos, beef birria fries, three chicken tinga tacos and tres leches cake. At dinner time, start the meal with chips and guac and nachos before digging into beef quesabirria or three Shroom Adobada tacos. Tack on a marg for another $10 at any meal. 1450 S. The Liberty Tavern
There’s a reason this beloved tavern has been a Clarendon fixture for nearly 20 years, and its Restaurant Week discounts will be available through Sept. 6. Treat your taste buds to new American fare during a three-course prix fixe lunch ($35), featuring salads, sandwiches, pizzas and entrees like rigatoni bolognese. Lyon Hall
This European brasserie (whose sister restaurants include The Liberty Tavern and Northside Social) will offer a three course, $55 dinner menu during Restaurant Week and Extended Restaurant Week. Guests can mix and match favorites such as oysters on the half shell and a mini lobster roll to start. Joon
Discover the wonders of Persian cuisine during brunch ($35), lunch ($25) or dinner ($65) at this Tysons hot spot helmed by James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Chris Morgan. Options on the three-course brunch menu include a falafel, spinach and feta omelet, or the chef’s version of French toast. At lunch, dig into cucumber salad and a chicken kabob, with a rosewater cookie for dessert. Fromt the main, choose Coconut Curry Risotto, Roasted Hokkaido Scallops or braised short ribs. Dessert is a tropical chè (think Vietnamese sundae) featuring lychee, mango, pineapple and sago pearls. Not a carnivore? An all-vegetarian menu presents choices such as Vietnamese Udon and Golden Maitake mushrooms. Feeling really hungry? Splurge for the $85 Unlimited Menu and enjoy your fill of small plates such as Chili Oil Wontons and Crispy Eggplant, raw and grilled oysters, Snow Crab Asparagus Soup, Bò Kho Pappardelle and yuca cake with ice cream. 944 W. Immigrant Food
This Best of Arlington winning Ballston restaurant known for its mission of gastro-advocacy will have deals during both Restaurant Week and Extended Restaurant Week. Lunch ($25) presents global eats ranging from Belgian fries with garlic aioli, and a vegetarian Mumbai Mariachi Bowl with falafel to a West African Gumbo Bowl with shrimp and chicken, plus two types of cookies for dessert. The $40 dinner menu features charred Brussels sprouts, chicken parm, whole roasted branzino and a Latin flan.
