Local artist Marina Troy’s expressive acrylic paintings depict the Adriatic beaches and bare mountains of her childhood in Croatia. Her tool of choice: expired credit cards (ingenious), which she uses in lieu of a palette knife to paint in wide strokes before making smaller marks and edits with brushwork.  Her “Retrospective” show opens on Friday, March 8 and runs through March 31.
