Call it perfect timing. Juneteenth was declared a national holiday just as live music returned to Columbia Pike after more than a year of canceled events and largely silent streets. The images below by Alex Sakes and Will Jones capture the spirit of this year’s joyful Columbia Pike Blues Weekend, held June 18-20 in one of Arlington’s most diverse communities.
