1. Gallery Shows and Openings
On July 6, stop by the Crystal City Shops (2100 Crystal Drive, Arlington) from 5-8 p.m. for the opening reception of Gallery Underground’s summer show, “Vacation!” featuring local artists’ homages to that time-honored summer pastime. You’ll also find plenty of inspiring works on display at the Falls Church Arts gallery (700-B West Broad St., Falls Church), where a show called “Organica: The Natural World,” celebrating natural creations and phenomena, kicks off July 14.
