Holiday Fun at Ballston Quarter

When: Dec. 7, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Where: Ballston Quarter, 4238 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Catch Santa, wreath-making, films, music and cookie-decorating at this free Ballston yuletide event. Oh, and you’ll find a lit, 35-foot tree if anyone’s interested in snapping photos for the ol’ holiday card.


KIngsbury Chocolates

Chocolate and Beer Pairing at New District Brewing Co.

When: Dec. 7, 2-5 p.m.

Where: New District Brewing Co., 2709 S. Oakland St., Arlington

Local artist Rebecca McNeely—a full-time painter for the past two decades—presents abstract reflections on sites she has visited, including depictions of the western United States. Opening reception Dec. 13 from 3-7 p.m.
