A Chorus Line

With one of the largest casts Signature has had on one stage, A Chorus Line—the recipient of nine Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize for Drama—pulls back the curtain on the trials and joys of the almighty audition.

The Snow Queen

When: Dec. 3-29

Synetic Theater, 1800 S. Bell St., Arlington

Before there was Frozen, there was this Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale that inspired the 2013 animated phenomenon—a story about two young friends, a magic mirror and a frosty queen. Synetic will also be hosting a Fairytale Tea Time on Dec. 14 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Costumes welcome.

A Taste of Winter

When: Through Dec. 27

Where: Gallery Underground, 2100 Crystal Drive, Suite 2120-A, Arlington

Expect “taste” to be taken literally at this free, all-member Gallery Underground show, where wintry landscapes commingle with food-centric pieces.
